| A wind farm is a collection of wind turbines that are used for generating wind power electricity. There are wind farms all over the world. A wind farm produces energy that is clean and pure, and hopefully will replace other unclean, unnatural energy sources. The largest wind farm in the world is locate in Texas and is owned by Florida Power & Light. A wind farm consists of as many as 421 wind turbines at a capacity of 735 watts. Each wind farm must be maintained and many wind turbines in each wind farm are being replaced by larger, more efficient and powerful wind turbines. A wind farm is the future of clean, consistent power and energy. |
